SMC interview: face-to-face vs phone interview

Hi All,

Does CO let us choose between face-to-face and phone for SMC interview conducted from offshore application?
Will a face-to-face interview have more chance to get Resident approved than a phone interview?

never ever heard of a face to face interview being conducted in an SMC case

We choose phone interview.
As we are not native English speakers. We can write down some key terms to answer the question.
However, my friends who are educated in British, they choose face to face as it is more sincere.
