    Default Have Resident Visa, got Job Offer, can we get PR now only?

    Hello there,

    We recently received NZ Residency and luckily found employers who have offered jobs to both of us. Given that we have offers as well as Resident Visa, is it possible to apply for Permanent Resident Visa(PRV) directly?

    See here http://www.immigration.govt.nz/migra...quirements.htm for the requirements for getting PR. It is a visa that is only available to those who have held activated Residence visas for a minimum of two years, and have met the other requirements, showing a commitment to NZ in some way.
