    Default ITA lodgement acknowledgement

    Hello everyone,

    I sent my ITA along with original documents to INZ (northern area documentation centre, Auckland) on 9th May 2016. I still haven't received any kind of acknowledgement from INZ saying that my documents were received and my application has been lodged. How long does it usually take for this to happen? Should I wait one more week before I call them with a query? Please help.

    For the Christchurch office it took 10 WORKING days to receive any kind of acknowledgement of receiving my application. I imagine it would be similar for Auckland.

    You would not receive any acknowledgement. In my case after 3 days i had my online account updated stating visa type and lodgement date and documents were returned to me via post very next day. So keep your eye on online status.
