The CO will want to know that your responsibilities cover all, or nearly all, of what is mentioned by ANZSCO - see here.
    http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@....urant+Managers
The CO will be looking for that in your employer's answers to the questions about what you do. And when talking to you, s/he will be checking that you are saying the same things about your job description as your boss did, and that it covers as much as possible of the ANZSCO description.

What type of cafe are you managing? franchise, department, bakery, coffee kiosk, cyber-cafe?

Well, the responsibilities retained by the owner is the main threat to your case. Run it like you own it. It seems that you have only just started working there since your job search visa so it causes me to wonder if you're being too premature in your quest for residence, and need to wait until you either have effective control of the business or you make good use of the work experience and look at residence with the next job you go to.

    Good luck..

I'm very much inclined to agree with Mark.

Just because you job is titled Café Manager, if there is not a substantial match between what you actually do, and what is on ANZSCO then INZ will decline the application. its always very difficult in roles such as café/restaurant/ retail manager and particulary so where working owners are involved in the business.

If you don't "manage and control the operations of a (café) business" , (not just the café itself), then it will lead to a decline.

try searching below, for the many appeal decisions on the subject of "managers."
