    Question LTSSL (Work Experience)

    Hi,

In regards work experience, if my job title in my previous work was different to the job offer should I mention it? Although, I have the experiences and skills that I can do the job that has been offered.

This is the criteria of LTSSL in work experience:
You must have the work experience required by the LTSSL to do the work you’ve been offered in New Zealand.
You must provide documents that show:
    the work that you did
the dates you did the work
how many hours a week you worked (on average)
the contact details for your employer or employers
how your work experiences relates to the work you’ve been offered in New Zealand.

Thank you for the advice in advance.

    Hi there,

No problem with the job title as long as your current work experience is related to the job offered to you.

    regards,

You've quoted the list of all the information about the job that INZ need to have. If your certificate of employment shows ALL those details, it will be enough. If some of the information isn't on there, you will need a letter.

Hi JandM, thanks for the response.

I have a qualification in ICT and the job offer is Software Developer. I'm confused If I need to comply this requirement(work experience) for LTSSL work visa?

    Thank you.

    Hi there,

Last time, I have requested a certificate of employment from HR of my previous company for following details :

    Job Title
    Start date and End date
Working Hours (40 hours per week)
    Full Time / Permanent Employee

Then for my job description I have asked my supervisor to provide it with his signature and contact details.

    Regards,

    Hi jeremylee99,

    Thanks for the response.

I have a copy already but they're no job description details, I'm thinking to put the responsibilities on my cv for the letter. Is it alright?

The list of responsibilities, if not included in the certificate, has to come from someone at the company that employed you, e.g. the employer, the HR department, your then line manager, or a colleague. INZ will want to verify it by asking a third party - they can't take it from you yourself.

    Hi JandM,

I had 3 previous employers from my previous work experience all of it is the same title, should I list once or should I make a list e.g. employer 1 - responsibilities, employer 2 - responsibilities, employer 3 - responsibilities.

    Thank you again.

List them separately. INZ will need to check about EACH employment.
