Default NZQA list of Qualifications Exempt from Assessment

    Hi,

I'm new to the group, I'm glad to have found this forum as I need help on NZQA:
My qualification Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, graduated from Mapua Institute of Technology (Intramuros Manila Philippines) in 1999 is in the List of Qualifications Exempt from Assessment but there's a note stated:

Bachelor of Science (a speciality may be stated) Level in NZ terms "7" Points under SMC "50"
Note: Where the speciality is Engineering, Nursing, Teaching or Education, as stated below, refer the qualification to NZQA for assessment.

Bachelor of Science in Engineering (a speciality may be stated) - Refer to NZQA for assessment

Does this mean I need to apply for assessment? Is it the IQA?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Yes, you have to apply for the IQA.

Hi Mary79. Just want to know how was your NZQA assessment went through? Did NZQA still asked you for IPENZ assessment?

    Hi ,

I would like to ask for clarification related to LoQEA.
Does my wife needs to take PAR or IQA prior to EOI submission.
She is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of San Carlos
in Cebu, Philippines. Based on the LoQEA, Bachelor of Science is listed and also the awarding
Institution for her case, University of San Carlos as mentioned above. Please see below link:

Hoping for clarification on this. If anyone has an idea, please share your thoughts

    Thank you.
