Immigration help urgent

Hi, I have closed work visa(talent work visa) and my employment is going to be terminated, can I apply for variation of condition on my current visa if I get another employment or are there any other requirment.My visa is valid until next year? I am clueless as I get differnt answers from immigration.

Do you have another job in view?

Thanks for your reply.No I am still hunting for one, but I am worried as I am not getting the same position.If I get the same position, same region, does the emoloyer have to give immigration the reason for hiring me and not some other new zealander or any other requirements?
