    Default SMC offshore application without job offer AIP (Shanghai Branch)

    Thank you brothers and sister for sharing so much information about immigration to New Zealand. I benefited a lot from the questions and answers. In return I would like to share my application timeline.

    Application from Singapore
    Applicant: Singapore Citizen, couple with 2 kids.

    September 2015: My wife and I paid a visit to Auckland and drove down to Wellington. After this trip, we decided to give a try to migrate to NZ.
    22 Oct 2015: Skill select account created
    7th Nov 2015: submitted PAR application for my wife, my bachelor degree with National University of Singapore is in the exemption list from assessment. My master of science with the same university required NZQA assessment but I decided not to use it
    18th Nov 2015: my wife's PAR is given Level 7
    2nd Dec 2015: Submitted EOI with 140 points
    9th Dec 2015: Auto-selected
    10th Dec 2015: CO contacted me
    22nd Dec 2015: ITA issued to submit resident application within 4 months
    16th April 2016: Submitted application for resident visa to Shanghai Branch
    18th May 2016: CO contacted me to submit missing documents on job descriptions and others by 1 June 2016
    31st May 2016: Submitted missing documents
    3rd June 2016: CO contacted for telephone interview with my wife
    16th June 2016: Interviewed about 30 mins for myself and 10 mins for my wife
    23rd June 2016: Resident visa Approved in principle to submit passport for visa stamp by 23 Dec 2016
