    Default About Residency

    Hi there, My wife finished Phd in new Zealand and she have job search visa until next year March. Now She got full time job offer letter in one international collage. Job will be start next month
    We are not sure when we should apply for residency and what are the requirements for it?
    If any one have immigration questionarie, please let me know...

    Here https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...-resident-visa is the INZ page with information about applying for Residence under SMC. See also the links off that page for extra information.

    Here http://onlineservices.immigration.go...anual/6954.htm are more detailed regulations. SM6 has a chart of available points, and the other sections state the exact requirements for being able to claim those points under each section.
