If she's got copies of (some/any of) the evidence that is already with the Residence application, then send it, and/but give a cover letter explaining that the Residence application is in, giving all details of lodgement date, reference numbers, etc., and that all the originals (and any extra evidence) is with that. All important evidence is logged as seen and verified, and some is scanned in, so the later application can be linked to the earlier one and the evidence accessed. The work visa application may well be dealt with in a different office from the Residence application, and quite likely a different CO, so the point is to make it as easy as possible for the work visa CO to see that this is an easy, tick-box, case.
