Default essential skills category work visa

I have a due to finish my Diploma in professional cookery level 5 in mid of September. I already have a job offer for the position of Chef De partie. What are the process I need to do for my work visa application? Does my employer have to go through labor market test? What are the documents that I need to include with the application?

Here https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...ills-work-visa is the INZ web page. Read all that, and the links off it, and it tells you exactly what you need to do. (See 'The application process', down at the bottom of the page.

The employer doesn't have to do a labour market test because the job is on the Long Term Skills Shortage List.

If your position is in an occupation on one of our Essential Skills in Demand Lists, you don’t have to check if there are any New Zealanders available before you recruit overseas.
