    Default Work visa help

Hi, I just had few queries regarding my husband work visa.He has applied for work visa on 7/7/2016 under essential skill category, skill level 2.Employer has supported well and has give required documents. We hv been contacted by our CO and he told us he is waiting for nz police verification which cn take 30-32 days.I was jst worried as my husband had appeared in court on charges of assault but was given discharge without conviction after attending anger managment course, can this affect our application?I am worried hs have heard nothing from immigration yet. Thanks

It's not likely to block him from getting a visa http://onlineservices.immigration.go...nual/43627.htm, but he may get asked to apply for a character waiver.

He DID declare this, did he?

remembering though that a discharge without conviction is just that. Important that you answered any questions about "arrested" or "charged" correctly. IF not nthere might be issues of providing false or misleading information. That said, INZ would only receive information about a conviction.

    Hi
When we applying for work visa the form stated "if u hv been convicted", since he recievd discharge without conviction we didnot mentioned it. Do we have to mention it, I am not sure?
