Application approved but no passport yet

Hi there,

CO in New Delhi branch sent an e-mail to my wife that they granted a general visitor visa for 9 months and the passport would be dispatched shortly, but it is being 1 week no update by TT Service office for tracking document.

Usually how much time does it need to dispatch the passport after granting the visa?

have you checked with your CO?

In my case earlier, I received tracking number from INZ, however when I checked online, the document was not yet sent. It turned out the officer was on leave and could not proceed with delivery process just yet. Once she got back to office, she replied to my email saying that the item has been process for delivery.
