Eoi selected then rejected after 3 weeks

I was on a student visa when i applied for my eoi even though i competed my studies few days before i applied my eoi. I am working in skilled employment. I chose skilled employment but working for employer less 12 month on my eoi. I didnt choose job offer in nz. After my eoi was selected i applied for my open job search visa and i have got my visa now after 3 weeks of eoi selected they sent me an email saying i have not been selected. Please share ur experience guyss..

Yes they said point i claimed for employment related was not valid. Is it possible to apply for new eoi with just job offer in new zealand

You can apply for a visa any time you match up to the requirements, and if you're doing it from NZ, you have to be on a valid visa at the time you do it. I don't understand what you mean by 'just job offer', so can you explain a bit more?

Two year diploma completed- 7/july/2016
Full-time employment contract- 13/July/2016
Student visa expiry - 31/08/2016
Eoi Selected -20/july/2016
Open Job search visa( work visa) applied-27th/july/2016
work visa granted-04/ august/2016

I am allowed to work fulltime after completion of my studies so i accepted a job offer and started working. then i applied for eoi (150 points) and there was a question ( Are you claiming points for skilled employment, and declare that you meet the criteria for any of the following? Ans) Current skilled employment in New Zealand less than 12 months.). As i was already working fulltime so i chose this answer instead of Job offer in new zealand. And after my eoi got selected i applied for open job search visa and received it on 4th august. Today i got a email from immigration saying that my claim was not valid and my eoi has been selected and goes back into the pool for selection again. Should i apply for a new Eoi again?

I THINK, possibly, the problem might have been that your employer couldn't actually give you a permanent contract while you were still on the student visa.

How many points would you get altogether if you selected job offer, instead of current skilled employment?

I suggest you should ask ChrisMwn to look at this - he will know what you can best do next. I think you may PERHAPS be able to use the same EOI and get it re-selected.

i have a fulltime 40 hrs contract. so i think that shouldnt have been the problem. even if i select job offer my points would be same( 150 points). is there any way i can get in touch with chrisMwn.? how can i use same eoi to get re-selected?
