Expiry of Medical During Application

Hi everyone.

First post on this website.

I have submitted my work visa application and it is still pending. The medical I had for a previous work visa is due to expire in a few weeks. Would INZ ask me to take another medical if they are still processing my application or do they accept it (regardless of whether it expires in the meantime) from the date the application was lodged?

Usually, as long as the medical was valid when it was lodged, it will do. INZ can of course tell you to have another one, but that only normally happens if they have reason to think that the person's state of health has changed, or that they have been in some other country where there are risks of infection.
