Hi can anyone please share immigration link where it says it's 6-9 months for smc application.

When checking on INZ website it states only 6 months.

Anything INZ says is their best guess, never a promise. You can't rely on the '6 months' - experience shows it can be around that for a good partner-sponsored residence case, but longer for an application under SMC.

Recently applied for my partnership residency visa, it was about 1.5 months from application received to residence visa granted.

Mine was originally a partnership work visa for 2 years, my case is probably quite simple ie married for 12 years, have a child together etc
