Hello All
Can anybody help?......
My Wife and I are wanting to return to NZ . We have NZ citizenship (we lived in NZ for 7 years) we have been back in the UK for 3 ......long... miserable... years!
Anyway ( don't get me started on the grumpy ,ol man syndrome)...

We are hoping to return to to NZ next year.... I will be 61 yrs young... and will .....more than likely ....have a salary of around 60K NZD...

My question is - would I be able to get a 14 or 15 yr mortgage? ( to age 75).

We will have a good deposit ( over 50% of the price of the house). I have looked at the Kiwibank and TSB websites but cannot find the info about age limits on lending.

Any advice ?

Im not of any rules regarding age, but rather about ability to make repayments and with a 50% deposit you are also well clear of any deposit requirements. Shop around or see what a Mortgage Broker can find for you.
