    Default Issuing Queue timing question

    Hi all,

My wife and I are planning a trip to NZ next week. We reside in USA. I don't need a visa but my wife does, we applied for her travel visa on Aug 22nd and got an email this morning stating that "We have approved your application and your passport is now in an issuing queue waiting for your visa label to be affixed". Does anyone know how long this issuing queue process takes?

I know that after NZ embassy in Washington DC attaches the visa, they then send it over to the Visa Application Centre(VAC) and then those people overnight the passport back to us.

    Thank you.

Sorry not to be able to be more help, but it is variable. How long the queue is depends on how busy the office is.

Just wanted to say that we got an email stating that our passport has been shipped via FedEx and is on its way. So we are good. Thank you!
