Hi,
I have previously got Discharge without conviction and Police safety order for five days. Can immigration decline my work visa on these grounds.
Thanks

NO. Most forms now dont ask about arrests, or charges, but if you are asked you have to declare that you were arrested and charged, but a big "no" to convicted.
Thanks Chris from prompt reply,
I have applied for essential skill work visa from 8 July 2016, and the immigration is still conveying to me that they are waiting for NZ PCC. The NZ PCC is taking long time, that is making me more anxious since I have got Discharge without conviction and Police safety order. Sorry if I am asking the same question again, but can the PCC have effect on my application due to these interactions with police or lead to decline.
Regards.
NO
Thanks!
