Guide me on counting the recognised work experience

Hi Guys,

I have an B.Sc(Hons) electrical eng degree gained July, 2008. Then I worked as a Software engineer till January , 2009. Then I went to UK for M.Sc. I did M.Sc Software engineering. There after I have 3 yrs and 10 months exp.

I am Migrating under "Software engineer" and Chosen the recognised qualification as "M.sc software engineering" in the EOI form. But I have got the letter from IPENZ, they mentioned both of my qualifications are meeting the benchmark requirement for membership.....

My question is Can I count the experience that I gained before M.Sc degree in software engineering for the skilled migration as a Software engineer ?

Did IPENZ state that EACH of your qualifications met the requirements? Or was it that the combination of the two did it? I think the answer to that will be the decider.
