Seek help for immigration process

Hi,

I am an IT professional over 9 years of experience in shortage field. I am holding a bachelor degree with post graduate diploma from India. Currently residing in UK. I am planning to immigrate to NZ with family. My spouse is a dentist with 6 years of experience. Please let me know am I eligible to proceed with NZ immigration. If yes what are the procedure I need to follow. As per my knowledge me and wife need to go initial assessment and EOI afterwards.

It will be really helpful if u can guide me on this. What is the normal duration for the entire process.

See this page https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...-resident-visa from the INZ website. Scroll down to the red button near the bottom of the page, and use that, then you will see all the criteria, with buttons at the side to show the evidence required for each.

Then, here http://www.enz.org/forum/showthread....690#post450690 is an old post explaining what will happen when your EOI goes in, if it appears to have enough points to be selected (140 with no job offer).

If you reckon on the whole process taking about a year, that will be about right, and you may just be pleasantly surprised, since some go through a LITTLE more quickly.

If there is anything that you want to ask when you have read all this, of course you can ask here, but it's also worth doing a Search, because people before you who have gone through the process have possibly come up with the answers you want, too.
