Can i drive with my overseas license even when i'm disqualified for driving for 6 months with NZ license suspended?

Hi,

I have been recently disqualified for driving for six months and my New Zealand full license has been suspended.

But, i have travelled oversees last month and heard that once you travel overseas your overseas license will automatically renewed for one more year. Is this true?

Is am eligible to drive with my overseas license?

Who can drive on New Zealand roads

You can drive in New Zealand if:

you have a current and valid overseas licence or driver permit, and
you haven’t been given a disqualification or suspension in New Zealand, and
you came into New Zealand less than 12 months ago, and
your overseas licence is in English, or you have an accurate translation, and
you haven’t been granted a New Zealand driver licence since you last entered New Zealand.

If you don't meet all of these requirements, you must apply for a New Zealand driver licence to drive in New Zealand.

No, once you have NZ licence nothing from overseas will work.

YOU are disqualified from driving in new Zealand. Whehter you can drvice in your home country on that licecne might be an interesting question.
