SMC ITA Submitted Question Re: Accredited Employer & Location

Does immigration still need to get in touch with your employer if you've lodged an ITA claiming points for currently working for an accredited employer? Just wondering what the conditions are for immigration to get in touch with your employer.

Also is it normal for the ITA to be processed by the Auckland branch even though you are currently working/living in Wellington (ITA has Wellington stated as current work/living region)?

applications will be processed wherever INZ has capacity. yes, they will verify job offer under SMC
