    Default Rules on counting number of days to apply for PR

    Hi! I read here that you have to stay 184 days (or 6mos) in each of the 2 years as proof of commitment. I would just like to clarify if this is for straight 6mos or it can be in and out of New Zealand as long as you accumulate 184 days on that year? Thank you!

    184 days cumulatively in each of the two, twelve month periods preceding the date of application.
