    Default Tax File Number

    Tried searching and going on the IR site
    I am a NZ citizen but left when I was a child so no Tax Number, I am returning to NZ to work and I would like help in what do I have to do to get a Tax File Number, I have an Aussie one but obviously that doesn't work and I will be moving permanently

    Hiya, you will need to get an IRD number from the Inland Revenue Department.
