National Security Check

Dear all,

I need to understand the working of National Security Check.

Does they verify work experiences, Educational Qualifications? or they just contact with different governments and verify our police character certificates?

As far as my understanding work, education and partnership related evidence are mostly verified by case officer.

Do case officer usually forward National Security check form to relevant authorities as soon as they are assigned to case or they wait for all verification and then forward National Security check form to authorities?

The main purpose of national security check is to verify with in there system that have we ever been deported from any country? are we convicted in any country or are we involved in terrorist activities or they will just simply verify our police certificates?
