    Hi,

Im working as a community support worker for 2 and half years in New Zealand. I have completed level 3 on health disability and aged care. Looking forward to start studies on Diversional therapist level 4.
I have an idea to apply for residency after finish studies on level 4 on Diversional therapist. If I can find a job as a diversional therapist I think I can claim my current work experience to apply for residency.

Please advise me about the possibility to get residency on the same. this job is categorize under "C" on skill migrant job list.

    Thanks and regards.

The regulations covering this are here. http://onlineservices.immigration.go...nual/46411.htm

I think you are likely to find that your experience up till now would not be allowed to be counted. INZ work on the idea that a person's life goes study>qualification>work experience, so they are VERY difficult to convince that any work done BEFORE the qualification that they will take notice of has any value.
