Anyone EOI Selected on 28 Sep 2016

I am new to Forum,

I am applying SMC, and selected on 28 Sep 2016, but I did not receive ITA.

does anyone have same situation?

Ours was also selected on 28 Sep but no update in the system afterwards.Where is your location?

This is normal. It is not yet three weeks since your EOI was selected. Recently there have been many people who did not hear till four weeks after selection.

Do you automatically get an ITA once selected?

Not automatically (meaning, issued by machine). The EOIs are selected by computer on the basis of the points people SAY they have got. After that, human beings look over the selected EOIs, making sure that, from what each person says about themself, it LOOKS AS THOUGH they really have the points they have claimed, and if so, the ITA is sent out.

I am in the same boat. Selected on 28 Sep, 145 points but have not received ITA yet. I am applying from overseas with no job offer.

How will the new 160 point qualification affect the subsequent assessment and processing?

Not at all. Your EOI was selected before the new rules came in, so it will be processed in line with the old rules.
