For a 2 yrs old kid,
She is obviously not a dependent child,
But I can't find through the official site on how to deal with this situation.

I am a student visa, programme is Level 7.

Apply in her name for a visitor's visa, sign on her behalf as her parent, and give a covering letter explaining the situation. This should link to the partner-sponsored visa presumably being applied for by the partner who isn't a student. https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...s-visitor-visa
