Can i apply for residency being a Commis chef

I was just curious like can i apply for residency in future as a commis chef as i have finished my cookery course of level 5 in June this year and I am on the Post study Open work visa so could i apply for residency once i get my closed work visa and also how do i calculate my points to enter the new 160 points pool
