Default Resident - based on partnership

    Hi everyone.
I just applied for residency- partnership. It is still in processing stage in Hamilton . My work- place doesnt have any work in about 2 months. And I found the another job in different town. So i have to live seperatelyour with my partner about 2 months. I know it will influence for my visa application. My question is if I can get that job and inform immigration my current situation or just stay with my partner and no job for 2 months. Anyone is in the same situation please give me advice. Thanks

If I were you I would be unemployed and continue living with your partner, it will save you the possible complications of getting a partnership visa while not sharing the same residence as your partner.

I agree with David. As someone going through the partnership track they are very strict on this and not living together would put your residency at risk.

Please I have 1 question: if I stay unemployed for 2 months while my application is processing. Is there any influenceseed on my resident application? Because I guess immigration will look at that and think no job is not good. Correct me if I'm wrong. Thank you very much

Being employed or not has no influence at all on partnership based applications at all
