Hello There,

I am posting following thread on behalf of my mate. It will be handy if anyone share information or experience regarding section 61 application.

My mate applied employer assistance visa on 5 October before expiring open work visa. Unfortunately her work visa declined yesterday.
We can apply for re-consideration or Section 61. It will be great if any one share someone's experience regarding section 61 application.
Section 61 success rate?
should we go for student visa through section 61?

You cannot ask for reconsideration if you are not lawful in NZ. The only option is to make a Section 61 Request.
