    Default Work Visa Stamp/Label

    Hi,

    Good Day!

I just renewed my work visa after being delayed for a while due to immigration workload and was on interim visa for a week.

INZ returned my documents/passport and was surprised that there is no label or stamp for the renewal of my Visa, though I check it online and said it's approved and have been extended I'm just concern that there was no stamp as normally they will put one in your passport.

I'm going on a holiday and my question is would it affect me going in and out NZ without the stamp? I have the email copy from INZ confirming my visa being approved and extended.

Please share your experience or knowledge regarding the above query.

    Many Thanks

I wouldn't wait for answers on the forum - ask INZ. We people here are members of the public who might get this wrong, and you can't go out of the country with this MAYBE wrong.

    Thanks JandM.

Did a thorough read of the papers from INZ and saw this.

"PRINT THIS DOCUMENT AND CARRY IT WITH YOUR PASSPORT AT ALL TIMES
The details above reflect the electronic record of your visa held by Immigration New Zealand (INZ). You do not require a visa label in your passport. Do not attempt to alter this letter. It is an offence under the Immigration Act 2009 to use a document that you know has been altered."

which confirms that I don't need a label in my passport.

    Thanks
