Essential Skills Visa (Employer not specified)

Hi everyone,

i am on Essential Skills Visa for 3 years which states i can work as Sales & Marketing Manager (Branch Manager) for any employer in Canterbury. i am planning to change my job as i am heaving troubles with my current employer, so my question is can i stay without job on this visa (for looking new job)? if yes then for how long?

do i have to apply for VOC etc when i change jobs within Canterbury?

Please help guys as i am heaving real real tough time with my current employer.

Sorry to hear you're having a bad time.

I think you will need to check with INZ about this. I haven't seen the question come up on the forum before.
