Renewing Indian passport from Auckland

Hi,

One of my friend would like to know the process of renewing his Indian passport from Auckland.

Can anyone tell me how it can be done from here, do we need to send the application by post to Wellington ? or, any agent in Auk they can receive the application in person ?

Pls advice.

Use a courier with secured tracking. also for with return envelop.
