Default Change the job while waiting co allocated

    Hi guys

As my SMC application still pending status and been 3.5 month waiting co allocated. I working as Japanese chef ( teppanyaki) at hotel. That my last title when I was apply SMC application. My previous job as western chef at different hotel. What would be happen if I change my job become western chef as Commis or chef de partie in other place hotel cafe or restaurant . Is that made my SMC application denied or I have to start from new Eoi? My work visa will be expired on march 2017 . Please guys any advise would be appreciate . Thank you

If you are offered a different SKILLED job, you can choose to take it without upsetting your SMC application, as long as you make sure you get a Variation Of Conditions on your work visa, or change the work visa (whichever it needs - ask INZ), so you are legally covered by a visa all the time. https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...emporary-visas

If you look here http://skillshortages.immigration.govt.nz/, you will see that INZ make no difference for a teppanyaki chef, and http://www.abs.gov.au/ausstats/abs@....OUP+3513+Chefs nor does ANZSCO.
