    Default Importing Offroad motorcycles

We are planning the move and we have 2 off-road motorcycles that we would like to take with. The bikes are not registered but I have the manufacturing certificates and invoices which should be enough for proof of purchase.

    The bikes are:
    1) 2015 KTM 300 X-CW
    2) 2016 Honda CR230F

Is there anything that I must provide additional to these documents in order for them to get clearance?

Any advice will be appreciated, since I would rather sell them in South Africa than have them confiscated by customs...

If you're going to keep them off road (trailer them to mx parks etc), you don't need to register them according to the NZTA website (https://www.nzta.govt.nz/vehicles/importing-a-vehicle/). I guess they would just be general household goods, and would come under whatever rules there are there.

    Never done one myself though...
