Default Got PR ...Sharing timeline ...whole process

    Hey guys,

Just to give you an idea of getting through the process of PR :-

    EOI submitted- 17 February
    EOI selected - 2nd March
    ITA submitted- 7.04.2016
Case Officer Allocated- 2 June 2016
1st contact by Case officer- 3 June ( asked for documents)
Questionnaire to Employer- somewhere in June/July
Additional information (Update to CO ) - 4 Nov 2016
Online status - approved- 17 november
Approval in principle- letter - 21 November
Residence stamped on Passport- 3rd december 2016

I tell you guys that patience hold the key to approval , so if your application is taking long time just think that something positive is going to come, as I never contacted the CO during the whole process. I filed my application by myself with no assistance except to attention to detail of each requirement.

Thanks JandM for all your comments as I learned a lot about the whole immigration process and it's timeline and enabled me to keep patience under whole process.

Overall a timeframe of overall 8 months took in the whole process.

All the best guys .....enjoy the process and then result...

    Hi Pret,

My employer sent in the replies to the questionnaire on 10 Nov 2016. Since then waiting. I expect that CO will ask about more evidence of relationship before making a decision as we just passed the living together at same place in October, even though we are together a lot longer....

    What about you?

I think the branch depends upon the Case officer , so my CO was based in Auckland. So my application got processed in Auckland.

    I applied with 255 points.

    Thanks

Congratulations! Just to clarify which visa you have received? Your timeline info sounds like the Skilled Migrant Visa but you're calling it a Permanent Residence which are 2 very different things

    Oh sorry for confusion.

    Thanks
