    Default partnership work visa submitted in Oct, still no CO yet!

    Are they still working??? Both of our passport are in INZ! Are they really so busy?? Can't believe that!

    You may well have a CO already working on your file, perhaps waiting for something beyond their control such as an NZ police check.

    They do not always introduce themselfs

    Well, you should. Your case is one of hundreds of thousands going through INZ offices. Every CO has an allocation of 90 - 100 cases at the moment. The system deals fairly with everyone, in date-order queues. Getting impatient and asking ENZ or INZ, 'When is it my turn?' doesn't make any difference. You are in the same situation as all the other people, and your turn will come.

    It took 3 months before a CO was assigned to me and my passports were sent back. They are really busy right now.
