    Default Partnership Visa Include Children

    Hi everyone,

My name is Nick, i just came to NZ 1 month ago.
Currently i hold an Essential Work Visa and i want to apply Partnership Visa for my wife.

Can i include my daughter (1 year old) in Partnership Visa?

    Thank you so much!

You've evidently found the details for the partner-sponsored temporary work visa. https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...k-visa-holders You now need to look at this visa for your child. https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...s-visitor-visa It's normal to get a visitor visa for a child under school age - as it will depend upon the parent's work visa, it will last for the same time as them. (For children of five or over, you apply for a student visa. For the benefit of anyone reading this later, when it's for a SCHOOL child, they don't have to have the offer of a place - where it mentions that on the forms, it is referring to college and university students.) You fill in the form as if it was the child themself applying, then sign on their behalf as the parent.

    See details here. https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...ZL&applying=no

(Whenever giving information about Immigration law, please add a link to evidence, otherwise it can be said to be 'giving immigration advice', which we are not allowed to do. http://www.enz.org/forum/showthread.php?t=51538)
