Partnership based Temp Work Visa - Partnership-based Resident Visa!!!

Can anyone please tell me their experiences or knowledge base re:

Applying from:

Partnership-based Temporary Work Visa

TO

Partnership-based Resident Visa?

1) Est time frame for outcome?
2) Cost? (In NZ already)
3) Process?

I applied for my temporary partnership work visa in April 2015, I got it within two weeks of submitting the application and they gave me two years which I haven't heard of from many who applied for the same thing.

I just handed in my residence application 2 days ago and have been assigned case officer today already. Can't remember the fee for the work visa as it's changed since then anyway but residence was $1250 and $300 for a new medical

Wow! That is really fast! i hand in my application on mid October and I still waiting to be assigned to a case officer...

May i ask why you needed medical? You didnt submit a medical when you applied for temporary work?

No I didn't need one as my medical from my skilled migrants visa was still valid at that time. I had two years skilled migrants, and then at the end of that I renewed through my partner and got a two year one based on partnership and now I wait for residency.
