    Here https://www.immigration.govt.nz/abou...-notifications is where announcements are made about any changes. There has been nothing on the subject you mentioned so far. Where did you hear about it?

    Oh wow, interesting...it sounds like they are really cracking down on low-wage workers. I'm sure lots of people are about to be disappointed. It might end up benefiting us, but it's pretty hard to tell. We'll see! Where did the April estimate come from, I looked through both links but I must have missed it...?

    finally they cracking down amount low skilled migrants or students who gradated and apply residence straight forward after finding job... Now from April ) need more hard work... at least 3 years stay here.... on skilled work visa Majority people can afford this.. kind rudely way but NZ straight seen they want everything for people to move out from Auckland.... because with new changes will keep same 160 points....However during 3-5 years for young students its really will be unpossible....

    I'm waiting for miracle as I submited my application with 155 points right before the changes... So sad and waste of money.

    @Juniper

    April part came from here: https://www.nzil.co.nz/immigration-law-changes-ahead/

    "Major changes to the immigration system for scoring points are often made each quarter. I predict that further changes are unlikely to start until 1 April, which is the beginning of the financial tax year. By this stage Immigration New Zealand will have 6 months of data with which to assess the impact of the points increase."

    He's predicting it'll start in the next financial year...
