Default Form 1198 partnership temp visa processing time

Hi - wondering if anyone has had recent experience applying for a partnership-based temporary visa? I'm curious to know how long it took or has taken. Anything else that was/has been noteworthy in your experience would be great to hear to.

My wife (+daughter) will join me next year, we hope, via a 'Partner of a Student Visitor Visa'. I get there in Jan, and I hope with they won't be too much later after that. I've heard the visas can be approved in a month, but also 2 months which is too long. We haven't been able to make the application for them yet.

Its depends whether u apply Visitor or work visa
#partnership based temp work visa takes long ,minimum 6 weeks or more than it.
#Visitor- nearly one month or it can take little more long if they need more info.

All INZ timings are their best guess, never a promise. Yes, those are approximate times taken, and work out, roughly, for many applicants, but there is no guarantee in any one case. All we can say is, 'It takes as long as it takes.' Good luck.

Thanks, guys. 'nearly one month' would be good.

I'm hoping for luck. My own student visa was approved in 3 business days. I was expecting it to take a few weeks.
