Visitor visa date change...?

Hi everyone
My mothet applied for a general visitor visa of NZ for one month and she got approved in 3 days...
But unfortunatley not for the dates she wants to travel...
So is there any possibility that we can request INZ to change the visa dates?
Has anyone experience with this ?
She has a proof of the exact dates that shr mentioned in her application...?
So just wondering, visa dates can be changed or not after issue?

It is possible. You'd need to contact branch where visa was issued and explain.

VISA would normally have been issued, valid for travel within 3 months of date of issue,sometimes 1 month

Actually i gave the dates on application form from 20th feb till 30th march
But visa is issued from 9 jan to 9 feb...and condition is she can travel in these dates and can stay for one month...
But problem is my mother cant travel before 20th feb...so as per visa if she enters in NZ on 8th feb(last days before the date) then she has to leave NZ on 7th march...
But we want her to stay till 30th march

I talked with INZ this morning and the said we have fwd'd ur request to related branch and thy will contact u in 2 working days

All sorted now.
Today i got email from CO with new e visa and dates have been updated.
Now party time with mum in NZ
