Work visa under partnership Appoved

I submitted my application on Jan 4, 2010 and when I check my application online its says approved.So i have a 1 year work visa now. This are the following evidence that I sent.

2 months worth of Bank Statement
3 months worth of phone bill
Joint life and car insurance
Letters with my name and address on it
Original marriage certificate
Scrapbook of our relationship
Pictures from the start of our relationship and current.
Random receipts
Letters from my wife's parents and sisters that we live together on their house
2 letters from our friend in nz for good character reference

We started our relation 2009,then my wife migrated to Nz on 2010. We continue our relationship even were distant and on May 2016 we got married. We applied for a partnership visa but the INZ gave us a 9 months visit visa and we arrive in NZ on August 2016 and got our work visa now. Thank you for this forum especially to JandM,you're a very big help to us.

Manukau .. yeah its so fast, we arranged our evidence according to the list on our cover letter so its easy for the officer to check.

Hi JandM, one last question.. I'll be applying for a resident under partnership on october or november and I'm aware that it will take 4 months or more. If they give me an interim visa,am i still legal to work or no??

INZ can't issue an interim visa for any Residence application (only for a temporary visa application). So, if you get within a month of expiry of your partner-sponsored work visa, and the Residence visa hasn't come through, you would need to apply for another partner-sponsored work visa, to keep you legal while processing continued.

At that point, because you would be applying for another visa the same as the one you're already on (open work visa to open work visa, "open" meaning you are not tied to one particular job), the interim visa would have the same conditions and allow you to keep working. https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...isa-conditions

Thats normal may be in 3 to 4 days
