Hi!

Newbie here. My partner applied for Gen Visit visa and I sponsored her to come over here. Problem is we got declined due to the following reasons:

Our decision on your application
We have declined your application for a visitor visa because you do not meet the requirements set out in visitor visa immigration instructions E5.1, E5.5 and E5.10 (Bonefides/ Genuine Intentions attached)

We have made this decision because:
You have not provided sufficient supporting evidence with this application explaining the following:

- Insufficient chronological evidence explaining how you and your current partner met? Where you met?
- Evidence demonstrating your 5 year partnership.
- No evidence of an official engagement taking place or confirmed travel to Dubai.
- No evidence of how you have maintained this relationship while living apart.

Given your significant financial investment in terms of money, time and logistics for your proposed travel, you should be able to explain and justify your intentions clearly and precisely.

We acknowledge the presence of a supporting Sponsor however at this time the sponsor was not able to mitigate our concerns for this application.

We appreciate that this decision will come as a disappointment to you but consider it to be the correct one in terms of New Zealand Immigration Instructions and our current risk profiles.

At this time we are not convinced that you would be a genuine visitor with significant reasons to return under Immigration Instruction E5.1, E5.5 and E5.10 (Bonefides/ Genuine Intentions).
We have considered if requiring a bond or granting a limited visa would lessen our concerns or if there are any special circumstances to justify an exception to immigration instructions, but can find no reason for any of these.

Questions:

1. Can we contact the CO and ask for a reconsideration given that we can provide all the documents in a short period of time? Or our best option is to lodge a new application with all the documents he has mentioned on the decision letter? What would be our chances for a second application?

10. While not legally obliged to reconsider offshore declined applications for a temporary visa, immigration officers may do so if new and compelling information is promptly provided.

2. Would it be helpful if she would provide Police clearance, Medicals and just a sample itinerary to prove that she is a "Boni Fide" applicant and will likely return to the Philippines when everything doesnt work out. She hass already resigned from her job as Nurse in Dubai.

Your input will be highly appreciated.
