    Default Biz or sponsor?

    G'day all!
I've had a great opportunity fall on my lap.
Though as a foreigner, I don't know which path I should take as how to get a visa...
I've been offered a business partnership, one I have no doubts that will work, after doing my research and all that goes with this business.

What is the easiest path to take, do I apply for a Entrepreneur Work Visa or get my Kiwi business partner in NZ to sponsor me and progress from there?

Any advice is very welcome, thanks in advance,

    Regards,

    DSB.

These https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...d-invest-visas seem to be your options. A lot depends on your personal circumstances - for instance, on what basis you would become a partner.

What exactly do you mean by having your business partner sponsor you? What kind of visa information have you been looking at there?

I researched the Entrepreneural Visa, though it would be a complex process and I would need "proven business skills and an in-depth knowledge of the New Zealand market place."
Which I certainly don't have, though I do have plenty of in depth knowledge of the industry I'd be working.
If my partner were to sponsor me, and then transition into the biz as a partner would to me, seem the easier path?
Sponsoring meaning my partner would employ me in the business to begin with.
I did find the information previously on the link you sent.
    Thanks by the way.

It would definitely be an easier process, and/but you would need to meet the conditions of the Essential Skills visa https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...ills-work-visa (which include your job needing to be on one of the Skills Shortage Lists, or having been previously advertised and no suitable NZer having applied, which needs solid proof), or for your employer to be accredited and sponsor you for the Talent (Accredited Employer) visa, aka Work To Residence. https://www.immigration.govt.nz/new-...residence-visa
