AUS visa required for transit flight

I planning to come auckland on coming feb . I am booking the flight from singapore to AUS , AUS to NZ.
Do i need to take transit visa ? any one p[lease advise..

Check the Australian Immigration website. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your own nationality, and how long you will be on the ground in Australia.

If you are Indian Citizen then you need Transit Visa for Australia.

Hi

For Indian citizens you definitely need a transit visa to travel through AUS and I applied one when i traveled last year..For other countries you can check the aus immigration website

Yes, you do need even if you are not changing flights. In my case its a stopover for refuelling at Canberra and I had to apply for transit visa.

Singapore Airlines.

Singapore >> Canberra, AU >> Wellington, NZ.

Flight stops for refueling at Canberra while the passengers from Canberra boards the flight to Wellington. I believe they fly only on Tues/Wed & Fri/Sat from Singapore.
