Default Medical for 8 month old infant

    Hi all,
Does anyone here have experience with getting a dependent visa medical done for their little one? Just wanting to hear of other people's experiences of the examination as we couldn't find more detailed info. Would he be required to give blood (have read that they sometimes are required?) and what exactly happens during the clinical examinations? I know he will not be required to get an x-ray. My son is quite nervous around strangers now and I really want to be prepared with some first hand accounts if possible.

    Thanks in advance!!
    Jen

    Hi
My 1.5 years old son had to go for just limited medical.
    No xray or blood test..
Just general checkup by registered doctor..
And i was being told to bring his vaccination record as well.
    All the best

    Hi shoe,

My experience was the same as pinchu's. Our 1 year old daughter had a very quick physical examination. I don't think it took more than 10 minutes. No other tests were needed. We also took her vaccination records with.

My 18 month old twins were same as above. Just a really brief questionaire and a weight, length and head circumference which were so inaccurate as he measured one of my identical twins 20cm taller than the other! But anyway no stress, just a really expensive day out! X
