    Default Hi, Character waiver requirments

    Hi
I Applied Job Search Visa on last two weeks ago i Got Email from INZ stating -
    Please suggest me

We have completed an assessment of your application and note that it appears you may not be of good character for a temporary entry class visa unless the character requirement is waived.
The provision in character instructions that appears to affect you is A5.45 (b). Full instructions are attached. Please read this as it sets out the relevant character requirements including what matters will be taken into account when a character waiver is considered.
This provision appears to apply to you because you have supplied information in a previous application for a student visa which leads us to believe was false and misleading. You appeared to provide Mumbai Area Office with a forged loan disbursal letter in support of that application and the application was approved. This was discovered after you travelled to NZ during a wider investigation.
This leads us to believe you have intentionally provided false and misleading information. As a result, you will not normally be granted a temporary entry class visa, unless granted a character waiver. We are therefore putting this to you for comment.
We have not made a decision on your application at this stage. We invite you to make comments or provide information in response to our concerns in response to these two matters:
    1. Whether you provided misleading information to Immigration New Zealand; and
    2. If, after considering your response, we conclude that you did provide misleading information as captured under A5.45 (b), whether we should grant you a character waiver and what the reasons are for the waiver.

As this email says, they are asking you for comments.

    1. Do you agree that you did supply false information? If so, did you knowingly and intentionally do this, or did you only find out after the event that information you thought was true, in fact, was not true?

    2. What reasons can you put forward that you should be granted a character waiver? (Here https://www.enz.org/forum/showthread.php?t=38635 is an old thread which talks about a case where someone had a police incident in their past, and needed to apply for a character waiver.)
